Thank you for the information; I too appeared to have missed the message first
time around.
I say Holmes, could this be a conspiracy?
On another subject, I put a small fan in the pod that contains power supplies
for the novelty phones. The reason being that we lost several power supplies
through overheating; circulating air from the fan resolved the problem. The fan
has mysteriously disappeared. Is there an explanation please chaps?
In any case, I shall be installing another fan. It’s handy that I have a few
units at home.

Yes Des fell at home on Wed, and to cut a long story short, is in Bedford
hospital awaiting a hip op. It was postponed from Thursday pm – hence the
second email.
His leg infection had gone downhill lately. Not clear if this is a broken hip
or not. Anyway, it will be a long job whatever happens. Des will also need
social services involvement for adaptions at home. Apparently there was a
stairlift at their house which Des had refused to use so it got taken out.
Alison has now got to get one installed again and she has told Des that he will
have to accept things need to change – seems he has been overly independent.
They have a downstairs loo but the bathing/showering is upstairs so he wont
come home until that is sorted; he will need ‘nursing’ help to shower for
example.
