Just wanted to share a little bit about of my psychology... I love
this quote; I feel like it was me saying that when I first read this
line.

``... To prove that degrees per se are worthless. Often they are
honorifics of true scientists or learned scholars or inspired
teachers. Much more frequently they are false faces for overeducated
jackasses.''

From Zebadiah John Carter, a character in the book,
_The_Number_of_the_Beast_ by Robert A. Heinlein. The same Heinlein
that gave us _Starship_Troopers_ and _The_Star_Beast_.

Seeing that we have two teachers in our list, I do hope that I have
not offended them by sharing this. I have the utmost respect for
good teachers (being that my mother is a professor herself, I might be
called biased, but rest assured that I am not), but I have nothing but
loath at the system in which they are forced to teach in.

I hope I've given you all something to think about...

``... I don't suppose we shall see them again.''
