I work at the Memphis zoo, we have squirrels chew holes in our cans all the
time. That being said unless they unionized I don’t think they are tipping one
over anytime soon!

trash can was full. It was knocked over and then a perfect circle chewed
through the plastic. The hole, at the bottom of the toppled can, was the
diameter of a soda can. Trash was pulled straight out but not strewn about
the yard. Would it always be safe to say it's raccoons or has anyone ever
seen a different woodland creature do something like this? The Hummingbird
and Orioles feeders were in disarray which again points to raccoons.
