The big oak tree outside my office window at the university was loaded with
birds a few minutes ago, including at least 4-5 BLACK-THROATED GREEN WARBLERS
and several other songbird species. Looks like migrants are moving through
our area in response to this week's (or an upcoming) cold front. Might be a
good day (and weekend) to get out and check your favorite local patch!
