Missbirders,
I sat watching this morning as dozens upon dozens of American robinspoured into
and around the walnut tree standing by the windows of my breakfast room. The
birds were feeding very actively on the berries ofa widespread growth of
Virginia creeper vine that shone in brilliant colorin the clear light of fall,
the whole providing a fine aesthetic experienceof autumn.
