[missbird] Vesper Sparrows

Jim and I birded Clay county this morning looking for sparrows.
On Paine Field Rd found lots of sparrows in mix were a postive ID of a Vesper
Sparrow.
In the MS DeLorme the road is listed as Old Payne Rd.
Drove back to Prairie Wildlife on Old Vinton Rd found 1 Ring-necked Pheasant.
We have been seeing this species since back in October. Most we have seen at
one time is 3.
Douglas Lake Rd on west side of road we found 2 Vesper Sparrows. We got great
looks as they perched on fence and fed along side of road.
Barton Ferry Rd we saw 1 Harlan's perched in dead tree on north side of road
across from field at intersection of Judge Thomas.
This is a late post from yesterday in Lowndes county on Section Line Rd.
We saw 8 Common Goldeneye ducks.
