Missbirders,
Please mark your calendars and consider joining us for the annual Delta
Wind Birds (DWB) North Delta Birding trip, which will take place on
Saturday, January 18.

DWB and Strawberry Plains Audubon Center staff will team up to lead this
field trip in the northern Mississippi Delta. We'll seek local winter
specialties including Barn Owl, Sandhill Crane, enormous flocks of Snow and
Ross's Geese, LeConte's Sparrow, Brewer's & Rusty Blackbird, and rare
sub-species of the Red-tailed Hawk such as Harlan's and Krider's.
Registration is required, and all proceeds support Delta Wind Birds
<http://deltawindbirds.org/>' efforts to foster habitat for migratory
shorebirds in the Delta. Please click here
<https://deltawindbirds.org/product/north-delta-winter-birding-2/> for more
details and registration.

Stay tuned also for announcements about other upcoming DWB events,
including a Sparrow ID workshop, Woodcocks & Wine & Art, and possibly a
Raptor ID workshop.
