The Eagles that nested near Sandstone trail have constructed a new nest. The
new nest is in a pine tree on bank of the creek that flows into the lower lake.
Go down Cypress Point Road and turn around and come back to Highway 35. STOP is
painted on Cypress Point Road just before you get on Highway 35. Stop your car
with the bumper over STOP, which is painted on the road, and look straight
ahead. Scan the trees along the creek. The nest is about 75 yards south of
Highway 35. This photo was made through rain and fog.
