A good friend from church would like to know what kind of nest this is.
This is the second year it has appeared in the same tree in Diamondhead,
MS. The nest is in a crepe myrtle bush about 8 feet off the ground. It is
about 1 foot tall and 6 inches wide. It is like a cocoon with one small
entry hole in the center of the nest. It is made of a white featherlike
bloom I have seen in the area.
He has not seen any creatures building, entering or departing from the nest.
