The Jackson County Mississippi Christmas Bird Count will be held on Friday,
Dec. 20 this year. I hope many of you will be with us!
We have had our Count in January for the past several years, but various
factors have made this a tight squeeze, so we’re shifting back to December.
I’m delighted and grateful that nearly all our sector leaders have approved
this date, so I hope it works for our traditional members and some new ones,
too.
I’m forming up teams, so please let me know (email below, or plain “reply";
don’t “reply all”!) if you’d like to join. I’d also love to have an understudy
who might be interested in taking over this Count next year. Looking forward to
a great CBC!
