While watching light sleet falling this morning a little after 10:00, we were
surprised when a hummingbird visited the feeder we maintain throughout the fall
and winter "just in case." The bird has returned to feed every 15 or 20 minutes
and I've been able to get a few fair photos. We've been trying to make it into
something other than a late Ruby-throated, but haven't been able to. Any other
opinions? We'd be very happy to be overruled!Tom & Darlene Hoar College Hill,
