Nice birds, Wayne. We had a Lincoln Sparrow come to our backyard feeders Wed. May 1 for the first time ever. It returned on Thurs. and Fri. but we haven't seen it today. It's a neat bird and a lifer for Judy and, of course, for me. Shortly thereafter and before my heart had returned to a normal rhythm an odd sparrow appeared. Turned out to be a Lincoln's. Nice consolation and I don't recall hearing of a Lincoln's Sparrow on or near a backyard feeder but I might need some correcting. Wayne Patterson Shannon, MS Lee Co.
