John, I obtained a copy of the Eagle CAD schematic and board layoutfor the printed circuit board that was created early on for the first version of the Minima. I have rolled a number of recommended changes into that schematic that is (maybe informally) dubbed Minima v1.1. I am not sure that you are interested in that or in the changes related to Minima 2.0. I just wanted to mention it to you as a matter of full disclosure. I'm maintaining it for historical purposes (if nobody else is doing it) and because I'm implementing a Minima v1.1 using that printed circuit board. 73, Mac AE5PH On 02/20/2015 07:55 PM, John Burton wrote:
Where would one find the latest schematic. It seem that there has been a lot ideas and changes mention. Have any been incorporated into the original schematic? I think I have decided to build in stages, which would allow new ideas to be checked out.john.kg9dkOn Friday, February 20, 2015 1:06 AM, FreeLists Mailing List Manager <ecartis@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:minima Digest Thu, 19 Feb 2015 Volume: 02 Issue: 021 In This Issue: [minima] Re: Favorite Minima Modifications ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Date: Thu, 19 Feb 2015 22:10:59 +0530 Subject: [minima] Re: Favorite Minima Modifications From: Ashhar Farhan <farhanbox@xxxxxxxxx <mailto:farhanbox@xxxxxxxxx>> mac, there is no problem at all. all are free to experiment, design pcb and measure. all i am trying to avoid is sale of pcbs at a commercial level that will come back to bite us. people are free to etch their own pcbs, or make minima ugly style. your website serves a very useful purpose in that regard.unfortunately, there is a tendency among the kitters to sell kits that wontwork and we (you and i and the rest of the minima group) will have to keep explaining that this is an experimental rig that wont work as 'advertised' by the kitter. hence, my reluctance at allowing commercialization. have a great day, -- fOn Thu, Feb 19, 2015 at 10:10 AM, Mac A.
