5NR 15 & 16th July 2017 Now in its 14th year, Classic & Supercars can now be
regarded as certainly one of the premier classics and supercar shows in the
South of England with upwards of 2,000 cars on display, from veterans to the
latest supercars.A host of attractions include motor club stands, motor trade
stands, an autojumble, craft fair and a quality classic car auction by
Sherborne based Charterhouse Auctions.Special displays showcase dragsters and
race cars, supercars, hot rods and custom cars. The marque feature for 2017 is
Mercedes-BenzThe venue could not be better as Sherborne Castle, built by Sir
Walter Raleigh in 1594, sits beside a 50 acre lake and 30 acres of gardens
designed by Capability Brown, and forms a dramatic backdrop to this immensely
impressive show. It has been the home of the Digby family since 1617 and we are
able to stage this event by kind permission of the Wingfield-Digby family, who
are also Presidents of the Show. Across the lake stands the ruin of the Old
Castle, built by the Normans in the 12th century and falling to Cromwell in
1646 during the Civil War, since when it has remained a noble ruin. A static
show in fantastic surroundings - TVRCC Events Van & hospitality for TVRCC
membersEntry per display vehicles (TVR) two adult tickets, show guide and
reduced Castle entry.Prices are per TVR per day - vehicle pass will be issued
