As you will probably remember, last year the TVR Club had a "Drive your TVR
Day" and the 3 Kent groups drove in convoys to meet up with one of the Sussex
groups. As you will see from Nick's e-mail he has arranged it again this year
and we wondered if anyone would be interested in joining in.
We could meet up at (Gladwish Barn, Headcorn Road, Sutton Valence ME17 3EL) and
meet up with others in our region on the way - route to be sorted at a later
date. If this is of interst, please let me know by e-mail.

Hi all
After the huge success of our version of Drive Your TVR day last year I'm
delighted to say we've secured a date to do it all again!
Carrie & I have visited several possible venues over the last few weeks to
see if we could find an alternative spot but in truth nothing came close!
(Bad access, expensive, not a lot to do, rubbish parking etc were just a
few of the problems we came up against).
As such we've 'done a deal' with Bentley Wildfowl & Motor Museum again as
everyone had such a good time last year. Not only is it a lovely spot with
beautiful grounds but you have the motor museum (ok, it's a shed but it's a
bit special), you can walk through the wildfowl sanctuary by the lakes, &
the café serves great food. On top of that we arranged convoys to the venue
which were quite fun.
Details to follow soon, as you can imagine it's work in progress but the
format will be pretty much the same as last year except we might promote it
as a 'picnic in the park' style this time around.
The date has been confirmed as Sunday 23rd July & I would ask all the local
ROs to pass this on to their groups, our plan is to get more cars than last
year so I want to spread the invite far & wide to see if we can get over
100 cars on the day. You should see it in next month's Sprint but feel free
to ask questions on here & please let me know if you plan to attend as I
need to give some idea on numbers.
I hope this is of interest? We had a marvellous time last year & I can't
wait to do it again.
