Has anyone successfully setup thunderbird to use oauth2 authentication. My
employer outsourced all their eMail to Microsoft via outlook.office365.com.
On my machine at work, I can configure everything and when thunderbird attempts
to sign in, I get a duo prompt (enterprise second factor authentication) as
expected which appears in a browser window. I believe this is an embedded
control because it seems to appear in a thunderbird window.
However, on my home machine, this embedded second factor authentication window
is completely inaccessible. I see a read only URL field, then many many fields
which NVDA simply announces as "unknown".
I've tried removing all instances of thunderbird, and as many registry keys as
I could find mentioning thunderbird, but still the same thing occurs. Maybe I
need to remove all traces of mozilla firefox as well; perhaps it is trying to
embed firefox and something about it on this machine is preventing
accessibility from working?
Has anyone come across this behavior, and if so were you able to resolve it?
Thanx much in advance.
