Yes, I believe Muse Score has it's own built in instruments (probably based
on some Microsoft midi sounds is my guess). I've only input notes for piano
though, so don't know what other instruments sounds like. But the piano
does play the notes you input.

Okay Pete,
As I must await Musescore 4 before getting started, I want to plan ahead.
My personal goal is to input my singing voice as the basis for my
compositions, input this into something as a middle ground for deeper
arranging, adding harmonies, etc. then if possible send the completed file
to musescore to prepare for printing into sheets I can share with live
musicians.
Based on how the program works, will this be possible? If so, what format
will my arrangements need to be in for musescore to understand them?
does the program come with its own instrument's library, meaning I might be
able to input my vocal sources into the program, use its instrument's
library and so forth?
Thanks,
Karen

excited to jump on board with MuseScore 4 because it will be their first
opportunity to enjoy VoiceOver support.
