Hi Brian: Well, I sat down and took another look. There is something about the
play function that does not correspond to what we thought it was going to do:
Control-space didn’t seem to do anything for me as far as playing goes.
Instead, it gave info about the style you re on. There is, however, an alt-p
keystroke that gives you options to generate and more. I will get together with
supersleuth Roy and we shall try to figure this out with the powers that be and
get back to you.

I think I’ll play a little more with the philters then.
For example I’d like just to hear the R type of styles if possible.
My jaws says something like gra phics 2 4 7 or so once in a while. Do you know,
what can cause this?

Brian: That play function is confusion, I agree. So, in the style picker,
spacebar now turns play and stop on, plays a BIAB audio sample. A toggle.
Control-p and alt-t turn song demo on and off. For the quick play, where you
can set the 4-bar intro. Has, if I’m thinking correctly, no hotkey. Then I’ve
seen an update from BIAB where alt-p play the current song (that’s the
description I find in the hotkey update list).
Sorry you’re having trouble. I went in there yesterday to see if I could find
some mor answers to help you.
As for the style filters, they do work for me, so I’m not quite sure what’s
happening at your end.

Are you sure that the jaws scripts are running when band-in-a-box is in focus
(jawsKey+q should tell you)?

Ok. I killed the whole installation and redownloaded it all again, so now it
runs like a charm.
I just think we need some revamping of the whole tutorialstuff.
Nothing seams to work anymore. ☹
