Hi There,
I don't know what your budget is but I recently had to buy a new audio
production / music laptop for myself. I felt that if I was going to make a
purchase on a new laptop, I really wanted to invest in one that could handle my
audio / music needs and would last me for a good while My research led me to
buying the following Asus laptop with specs included.
Yes, I do realise that this might be overkill for your needs but I'll let you
be the judge of that. :).
ASUS ProArt Studiobook 16" OLED Touch H7604
CPU: Intel Core i9-13980HX || 24 Cores 2.2GHz (36MB Cache, up to 5.5GHz) Screen
Size: 16" 3.2K (3200 x 2000) 120Hz OLED
GPU: NVIDIA RTX4070 8GB
RAM Size: 64GB DDR5 4800MHz RAM (2 x 32GB SODIMM)
SSD: two times 2TB M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD, - 4TB installed.
Ethernet Port: 1 x LAN port
Wireless Connectivity: Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) + Bluetooth 5 Display Outputs: 1 x
HDMI 2.1
Thunderbolt: 2 x Thunderbolt 4
USB: 2 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A
Audio Outputs: 1x 3.5mm Combo Audio Jack
Other: No Optical Drive
Operating System: Windows 11 Pro
Hope that helps,
David Truong.

Hi,
I'm thinking about getting a Lenovo Windows laptop with the following specs:
Lenovo v 15, Eleventh generation I 5, 16 gb ram, 1 tb Nvme ssd
Would that be suitable for the smallest speech-accessible music studio with the
Complete Native Instruments or the Lab equipment that we discussed earlier?
Does anyone have a better alternative?
Thanks for any input,
