Hi Bill. How about doing this as a trial. Open the directory where all
your audio files are, the .mp3 ones if you like. Press the right
context menu key on any piece of music you like. Press H which will
bring you to the "Open With" menu and press enter on it. If a dialog
pops up asking which application you want to play that file, choose
"winamamp" from the list. See if that simple step works. Otherwise,
we'll have to use a more advanced step. Cheers!

Dude, what version of Windows you usin'?
Assuming Windows 10:
1) Please go to settings > apps & press enter;
2) Go to 'Default Apps & press enter;
3) Please tab to music player, use spacebar to press the button, then
tab to & press the button to select Winamp.
You can close it out once you've done that.
If you're not using the most recent iterations of Windows, then let
us know that. Hopefully that is not the case, or Mom will be most
unhappy. & yall know that when Mom's unhappy, aint nobody happy lol.
