Hi Rui.
I think I bought the Pro version. If you do, you get some RealBand tracks to go
along with the purchase and a bunch of styles.

Hi Victor,
Thanks a bunch for re your feedback. Indeed I’m thinking to test it out
anyway since softwares on the Mac are becoming more or less accessible in the
last years, who knows?! grin.
It seems that PG Music gonna have another Band In A Box blind user bugging
them! grin.
Since I’ll be paying to see if it’s handy enough at least to write down some
progressions and select styles to practice my guitar soloing, what Band in a
Box version should I buy?
I’ll try it out with VOCR and so on, soon I post my feedback.
Thanks in advance, Rui

Hi Rui.
I don’t think there is much good news on this front. While you can achieve
some results with BIAB on Mac OS when using a combination of VOCR, a screen
scanning tool for VoiceOver, and tabbing around, some of the more important
parts of the UI, such as the chord sheet, instrument switching, etc, are not
very accessible with VoiceOver. You can possibly accomplish some tasks with
keyboard shortcuts, but do not expect much in terms of spoken feedback.
I have been bugging PG Music about this, but they have not heard me so far,
not for the last two years at least…
Let me know if you have better results though.
Best.
Victor

Hello!
In the past, I used to use Band-in-a-Box on a Windows system. Now, since
I'm exclusively using a Mac system and it seems that Band-in-a-Box finally
works on a Mac, I have a question regarding its accessibility from the
perspective of VoiceOver screen reader users. Is it accessible enough?
Additionally, if there are Pro versions of the software, which one has the
most interesting advanced features that I should consider buying?
Thank you in advance, and any suggestions and tips are greatly appreciated.
Best regards,
Rui

Emne: [freelists-midimag] Band in a box tutorials
Hi list. I bought Band in a Box a couple of weeks ago.
I have been experimenting with it. I have so far made two backing tracks
with it.
But are there any tutorials for Band in a Box with the scripts?
I am especially interested to know more about accessible ways to quickly
mute a certain instrument in a section; if there is a way to jump to the
different sections of the long bar settings window; and how to work with
the
song form window.
Thank you.
Dewald.
