Hi.
I submitted an entry for the showcase, but wasn't sure if the showcase was just
for students. I'm not a student, as I'm 80 years old and pretty much retired.
Is the second showcase entry just for students? If so you can listen to my
harmonica solo and then delete it. Otherwise, I'm still interested.
Mike

Ladies & gentlemen:
There are 2 opportunities of which I'd like to make you aware. These are both
sponsored by Friends in Art, which is the affiliate of the American Council of
the Blind, who sponsors our list.
The first is a scholarship, available to those who are enrolling in or already
enrolled in postsecondary education related to the arts.
APPLY FOR THE $1500 FRIENDS IN ART ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIP Friends-in-Art (FIA), a
nonprofit organization with the mission of creating spaces where
visually-impaired artist and audiences thrive, offers an annual $1500
scholarship to college students who are legally blind and live in the United
States.
If you are a high school senior or a college student planning to, or are
currently majoring in the field of music, art, drama, or creative writing, and
are blind or visually impaired, we encourage you to apply!
Note: Legal blindness is defined as an individual who has a visual acuity of
