Apologies. Couldn't attend the meeting yesterday and also couldn't
update the team.
Have the setup ready and I am working on issue 1 -

As I understand this is the functionality needed: User should be able
to choose *any* date from the calender (even a previous date) and
should be able to populate the ledger.
