Hi all—



1.      First, please let me apologize to our newer members for the delay
in getting the website updated to reflect their membership.  I am working
on it as we speak! Everyone—PLEASE take 5 minutes to review your
description under attractions AND send me back a note saying “all ok for
____” or “___ has a few changes I will send the correct content to your
email address”  WHICH by the way is tpuckett@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx. Ok doke?  Oh
and bear with me as I might  take a bit to figure out the html system—I
promise to get it all fixed in the end.



2.      Next, I had a blast at the Loveland School District district-wide
back to school meeting on Monday. EVERY employee was in attendance and I
think I talked to a goodly share of them.  To recap: the Little Miami River
Alliance Chamber of Commerce (formerly known as the Loveland Chamber) and
the Loveland City School District offer the Loveland Schools Employee
Appreciation program.  MHS voted to take part in it this past spring.   MHS
members voted that as a whole we would support it BUT that each individual
site would determine what/if they could offer any specials (like a
percentage off in the gift store, or off admission, or off a program).  We
want to indicate on our website with an icon those who are going to offer
specials. SOOOOOO please let me know either “yes, we plan to offer
something” or “no, we do not plan to offer anything”.  The instructions
will be for the employee to call first to see what the special might be.
They were really excited about the option—especially with holidays just
around the corner—so put your thinking caps on!!!



3.      Last, Caitlyn sent around info on the upcoming UGRR conference
(9/30, 10/1 and 10/2) and I think MHS should take part as a table vendor.
The fee is $25.00.  I went ahead and paid it and registered us. IF we vote
NO at the September meeting on it, I will suck up the cost and represent
Grailville only.  We will need a FEW  (no more than 25) copies of your
latest flyer or brochure, but I will be pushing the educator and general
rack cards for the most part.  I also would like to have help staffing the
tables.  We can discuss at September IF there is a motion to do this AND we
vote in the affirmative.

Remember, I need “AFFIRMATIVE” answers as well as “big ol’ fat Nos” to
number 1 and number 2 above BY 9/1/2016—but preferably by you know TOMORROW…
