Hi Lee,
I'm not familiar with the audio tour systems or apps other than I know there
are many options out there.
OnCell<https://www.oncell.com/pricing/> seems to be a popular choice for cell
phone tours but certainly not free,
I'll post this to the MHS listserv.
You may already be on the listserv, if not it will ask you to confirm your
subscription.

Subject: Question about technology
Hi Craig,
I hope all is well with you and the observatory.
I have a question about MHS and Jim Dempsey indicated you would be the best
person to know the answer.
We are slowly implementing a self-guided audio tour at the VOA Museum and I now
have 12 stations operational for an audio message.
I am curious to know if other museums around the greater Cincinnati area are
using an audio message, how they do it and their analysis of success.
Any guidance or information you could provide will be highly appreciated.
A little background: we have no money for the project, so we have implemented
the no-cost approach which is to use the speaker in a person's cell phone.
At each exhibit is a small sign with a number and name that the guest can then
select the appropriate number from a menu. The audio narrative will then play
on their cell phone.
Any thoughts or advice in this direction?
Thanks,
Lee Hite
