At the OLHA quarterly mtg. A few reminders and notes:
1. If you want to take part in WWI commemoration at Ohio State Fair they have
July 26 and Aug 5th left.
2. Historical marker costs going up.
3.deadline to apply for the outstanding achievement awards is Aug 1st.
4. If you would like to be a sponsor for the OLHA mtg the deadline to apply is
Seot. 4.
5.americorps members around state to help out OLHA members with s rep at
Cincinnati Art Museum beginning Sept 18.
6. History fund grant apps ste now available and are due Sept 5th. Remember the
mastodon license plates helps with this fund at 20 per plate.
7. Open doors Sept 7-16...dint forget to plan an activity and register by Aug
1-- and use the event to invite your state reps etc. To demonstrate the
importance of history for Ohioans.
8.local historian... dont forget that you can add tocalendar, or report on what
you've been doing and volunteer to write an article.
9. Olha membership...we are recommending member organizations help support our
next generation of historians by sponsoring your student interns at $20 for a
years membership.
