Hi all--please see below regarding The Local Historian!
If you’d like to send me content for the Local Historian newsletter, please
make sure that I have your materials by *October 25th* (next Friday).
As a reminder, News from the Regions pieces should be about 100 words; you
can also send me People in the News pieces of about 200 words for folks who
have had job changes or done something notable, like publishing a book,
etc. News from the Regions should cover things accomplished rather than
events planned. The goal is to let folks brag about what they’ve done, not
promote what they have upcoming. For example, the Meigs County Historical
Society is having a grand opening of their new building this weekend—a
write-up of that would be appropriate.
If you have anything else you’ve spotted that you think should be
announced, send that to me as well. Please keep in mind that the Local
Historian is scheduled to email on November 15th.
