Dear All,
Greetings from The Climate Reality Project India!
Earth Day is celebrating its 50th year in 2020 and to honour the same we
are pleased to inform you that we have started the “Youth for Earth”
challenge and looking for change-makers*.*
This is a campaign for youth to showcase their environment-friendly actions
and tell the world that change starts from them. It is about work on the
ground that results in a change for a more sustainable planet. The campaign
is jointly organized by The Climate Reality Project India, Earth Day
Network and Mobius Foundation.
Youth (age between 16-24 years) can participate by submitting an activity
conducted by them (between 22nd April 2019 to 15th March 2020), in the form
of a written report and short video of 3-5 minutes. Selected activity by
the youth group has to be conducted within their campus or in the community
nearby. And, the project/activity should be based on the five categories:
air, water, energy, waste and biodiversity. All entries will also
be recognised for their participation.
Winning change-makers will get recognition and exciting award, and their
activities will be featured.
*We are honoured to invite you to help us in reaching more youth, be it
students studying on campuses or volunteering with different organizations
because together we can make a difference.*
*We request you to kindly share ‘Youth for Earth’ details with youth groups
and encourage them to participate. *
