I hope all is well! With reference to the above-mentioned subject, we (a
group of early-career wetland researchers), in close collaboration with Dr.
N. C. Nandi, Retd. Scientist and Additional Director, ZSI, Kolkata, and
other leading Wetland Scientists from India have initiated an endeavor
named 'Wetland Watch India (WWI)

awareness to promote conservation, protection, and wise use of Indian
wetlands. As one of the endeavors, we have created a private group (link
below) to create a network of researchers studying/working on different
aspects of Indian wetlands. This group aims to provide a platform for
discussing wetland research and activities in India, besides providing
information/consultation on various career opportunities to the students
and researchers related to wetland research.
Kindly spread the word to the students, researchers, scientists, and
stakeholders interested in wetland research to facilitate discussions,
notify news on wetlands in India, display their work/reports, may join
