"*Van Mahotsav" is an annual tree-planting movement in India which began in
year 1950. It is celebrated from 1-7 July. It has gained significant
national importance and every year, millions of saplings are planted across
India.*
*We will celebrate this auspicious day by restoring the Kharghar Valley.*

Kharghar Valley Trail is a hidden trail at the end of Kharghar Golf Course
in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. Due to unmanned tourists movement, the area is
degrading.
We have adopted the trail for restoration. It is a year long project for us
where we engage local volunteers to carry out the restoration works.
We urge local citizens to volunteer with us and help in restoring this
valley.
*We have been carrying out following interventions since May 2019 using
volunteering stewardship.*
