*Volunteering in a project studying the behavioural and population ecology
of agamid lizards*

We seek volunteers as part of a project in Centre for Ecological Sciences,
IISc focussing on behavioural ecology and population ecology of *Psammophilus
dorsalis*, an agamid lizard found in peninsular India. We study rock agamas
in the Eastern Ghats, in and around Rishi valley school campus in Andhra
Pradesh, 160 km from Bangalore. Our research focuses on male and female
reproductive strategies, sexual selection, life histories, and consequences
for populations. Work will involve collecting behavioural and life history
data on wild lizards in hilly terrain and processing the collected data.
Food and accommodation for the selected candidate will be provided in
field.
