Join us for the eighth webinar in the *Biodiversity Conversations: India’s
opportunities and challenges* series, jointly organised by the Office of
the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India, the National
Biodiversity Authority, and the Biodiversity Collaborative.
We invite you to the webinar, *Biodiversity and Agriculture: Will the twain
ever meet?* The webinar is scheduled to be held on Monday, 12th October
2020, 1600 to 1715 hrs (IST) and will focus on a) a more nuanced insight on
how biodiversity and agriculture can co-exist, b) how besides mainstream
agriculture, biodiversity in and around farmlands, can augment food and
nutritional security and c) how biodiversity in farmlands can play an
important role in providing bioresource-based employment opportunities for
the rural communities.
