*BNHS-Bird Migration Study Centre has one opening for Research Fellow*
The selected candidate will be involved in report writing and scientific
publications (books & papers) on bird migration studies.
*Essential qualifications:* Master degree in Ecology/Environmental
Studies/Life Sciences/Wildlife Science or allied disciplines. Candidates
should have some bird knowlledge preferably water birds.
*Working experience:* experience in field research as well as data analysis
will be preferred. Interest in research related to wetland birds and bird
migration studies to conduct research.
The above-mentioned positions will initially be for a period of one year.
It will be extended
based on the candidate’s performance. The positions will be based at our
field stations located at Point Calimere and Kanyakumari, Tamil
Nadu. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
The selected candidate will be involved in bird monitoring, ringing, data
analysis, report writing and scientific publication.
