Hi,
I'm studying the processes in implementation of forest rights under Forest
Rights Act in the Western Ghats of Karnataka. I have audio recordings of
the interviews and group discussions that were carried out across 4
districts - Uttar Kannada, Shimoga, Mysore and Chamrajnagar.
I'm looking for a person, based in Bangalore preferably, with some
background knowledge of forests and is able to translate Kannada to
English, along with me (as I have a working knowledge of Kannada). The
person should be willing to sit with me from 9.30 - 4 pm, Mon - Fri at
ATREE office. Work begins right away.
I am willing to pay ₹300/- per day apart from food and local bus travel.
