Recruitment of Junior Research Fellow
Sálim Ali Centre for Ornithology and Natural History, Coimbatore
(http://sacon.in/) requires research personnel for the project
entitled “Conservation of the Andaman Serpent-eagle Spilornis elgini
in the Andaman Islands”
Name of the Position: Junior Research Fellow; Age: below 28 years on
the stipulated last date for receiving applications; Duration: 24
months;Fellowship: Rs. 18,000/- per month; Qualification and
Experience: M.Sc., in Life Sciences/ Wildlife biology / Ecology / /
Environmental Science/ Environmental Management and any other related
subject; Desirable: knowledge in field biology and ornithology;
working experience on Raptors is preferred; dedication to work in
remote and inaccessible islands in harsh conditions; Candidate with
tree climbing skills will be preferred. Selected candidate is expected
to join the project immediately.
Age relaxation is available for ST/SC/OBC/Women as per the Govt. of
India Rules.
