I am looking for one person for each of the following positions to work
with me on my PhD and the EDGE-Dancing Frog Project in the Western Ghats of
India funded by the Zoological Society of London - EDGE fellowship for the
period of 2019 - 2020.
*Job Description: *
*Research Associate:* This position is open for a passionate, hard-working
fellow who could work on multiple dimensions. I am looking for someone who
has basic skills in MS office and R studio. Also, some knowledge and
passion for amphibians and scientific research will do wonders. The work
will be based out of a lab and field for a minimum period of 3 months.
After this period, I will evaluate your performance and decide whether we
can continue working together.
Intern: Passionate, nature enthusiast with skills in managing social media,
making posters and other educational content with any background. Your work
will be based out of sites in the Western Ghats and various field stations
around the Western slope of Western Ghats - areas like Udupi, Coorg, Yana
and so on in Karnataka, India. Working conditions will be tough. Enthusiasm
for forests and frogs will be suitable.
You could be a graduate with any background however, it's not mandatory
that you have a degree or school/college experience. You must be more than
21 years old to be eligible for any of the above positions.
Remuneration will be discussed during an online interview process. It will
range anything from 8000 - 12000 INR based on your experience and the
enthusiasm you bring to the project. I am looking for someone who would be
willing to work for a minimum of 6 hours/day for at least 5 days a week.

I am looking for one intern and one full-time associate.
There is one position for a volunteer (no remuneration/I can provide basic
accommodation and food at the study sites depending on your enthusiasm).
You can come and experience working in the Ghats on your own terms.
