Subject- Inviting applications to join as Story Scholar
As we all know the biggest migration all over the world till now happened
in 1947 in undivided India where more than 15 million people migrated from
one place to another. Also there is not a proper count of how many killed,
injured or lost.
I am working in a project named 1947PartitionArchive as a Field officer. We
are collecting oral histories of the people who born before 1947 i.e. their
age should be 71+ years.
Through this project we are collecting memories of the people who survived
through that period and after 10 or 15 years there will be very few people
with us who could share their stories about the partition. These stories
matter a lot for educational purposes and preserving our history.
We are accepting applications to join as Story Scholar where you will get
stipend to collect the oral histories.
