Greetings from Maritime Research Centre (MRC). The MRC in the
last few months has been recognized by both industry and the government for
its contribution towards the effective implementation of the Security And
Growth for All in the Region (SAGAR) vision of the honorable Prime
Minister. The recognition at the top level is going to generate
opportunities for the young India and our next generation is required to
prepare itself to this new domain. Project based approach has been
recognized world over for its effectiveness in learning and making our
graduate youth employable.
MRC has a very critical focus on upskilling and industry connect. Though we
do not promise placement, however we make efforts to bring them close to
the industry requirement and bring industry experts and senior executives
to interact directly with them. The participants are also made aware of the
new opportunities and process of engagement. MRC activities and other

and go through the same.

The UDA Winter Workshop is yet another programme to expose the students to
the UDA framework and opportunities. Young officers from the Indian Navy,
Indian Coast Guard, PSUs along with young scientists from DRDO and other
organizations will attend the programme. The peer networking will be
another big opportunities for the students.
The detailed concept note is attached for your kind perusal. I request your
kind intervention to encourage good participation from your institutes. MRC
will be happy to support their projects and higher research post workshop.
