Hi all,
India Rivers Forum, as part of its annual event India Rivers Week 2020, is
organising a series of dialogues on the theme "Is sand mining killing our
rivers?". This includes 4 regional dialogues and 1 national dialogue.
India Rivers Week 2020 aims to bring out a report of the state of river
sand mining in India, along with recommendations for the future. Each
regional dialogue will also see the presentation of a regional report on
the current state of sand mining.
The dialogues will be held virtually, once a week. The schedule is as
follows (all dialogues to be held from 4pm to 6pm):
31st October - North Regional Dialogue
7th November - Soouth Regional Dialogue
12th November - West Regional Dialogue
21st November - East Regional Dialogue
28th November - National Dialogue
