To the YETI Team,
After the previous two sessions of Environmental Analytics workshops, we
received a very positive response. Looking at the participant’s response we
also launched a FB group known as Bharat Environmental Analytics wherein we
discuss various aspects of data-science in context of environmental data.
We invite all the interested people to join the group.
We appreciate this response are motivated to bring more facets of
Environmental Analytics this time looking into aspects like
data-modelling (*regression,
correlation, basics of linear models and basics of multiple-regression -
RStudio*) and *species distribution modelling (SDM)*. In the upcoming
course, we will also be looking in concepts like *MaxEnt (maximum entropy
approach), ENMTools (Rank MaxEnt models using Ecosim)*.
Our next course will be held from 26th to 28th of June 2020. I am attaching
the flyer with this email.
This course will be held by Dr. Pankaj Koparde and myself (Dr. Rohan
Shetti).
The course will be held online either via Google Meet or Zoom.
