The next introductory Sound Analysis Workshop
<http://www.birds.cornell.edu/brp/sound-analysis-workshop/> offered by the
Cornell Bioacoustics Research Program (BRP) will take place 23 – 27
September 2019, at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, in Ithaca, NY, USA.

The workshop is intended primarily for biologists interested in analysis,
visualization, and measurement of animal sounds. We cover basic principles
of spectrographic analysis and measurement of animal sounds, as well as
specific tools and techniques in Raven Pro <http://ravensoundsoftware.com/>,
a sound analysis application program developed by BRP. More information
about the workshop, including fees and registration information is available
 here <http://www.birds.cornell.edu/brp/sound-analysis-workshop/>.

Prospective participants from selected countries are eligible to apply for
two scholarship positions in the September workshop. Further details about
the scholarship program and how to apply are available here
<http://www.birds.cornell.edu/brp/scholarshipfall2019/>. Scholarship
applications must be submitted online no later than 24 June.
