India’s opportunities and challenges *series, jointly organised by the
Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India, the
National Biodiversity Authority, and the Biodiversity Collaborative.
We invite you to the webinar, *Clear and Present Danger:* *Climate Change
Hazards in the Himalayas. *The webinar is scheduled to be held on Thursday,
25th February 2021, 1700 to 1830 hrs (IST) and focuses on i) emerging
trends regarding key drivers of climate change and ecosystem responses, ii)
interactions between geology and climate change in the Himalayas to
generate hazards and how we can respond to them, and iii) prospective
changes to the discourse on business as usual to climate change, and how
natural hazard resilient development pathways can be enabled
