Bioremediation is utilising and engineering living organisms to remove
contaminants from the environment. Microbes are used on priority because of
ease of manipulation and to save time. Also the byproducts generated can be
beneficial to us and less deteriorating the environment. Few examples and
latest trends in this field will be discussed.
