*2 DAYS ONLINE WORKSHOP*
*INTRODUCTORY GIS ANALYSIS USING DIVA-GIS*
*20-21 October 2020 (6:00 pm - 8:00 pm IST)*
Geo-informatics tools are of great use in many areas of research,
particularly in biodiversity and conservation. This workshop will provide a
first step in learning GIS operations and analyses.
Designed with a practical, hands-on approach and conducted with an
easy-to-use freeware, it will cover the basic operations, map composition,
visualization and analysis of spatial, ecological and distributional
patterns using global climate data.
*The workshop is open for anyone interested in GIS data visualization and
analysis.*
Participation certificates will be provided. Laptop/Computer with good
internet connection, processing speed, and at least 4 GB RAM recommended.
