*Advertisement for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position for SERB project
(Reference No: SRG/2022/002286)*
Applications are invited for the position of *Junior Research Fellow (JRF)*
under the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) sponsored SRG
project entitled “*Assessment and modelling of carbon and nitrogen dynamics
in tropical forests of Eastern Ghats, Andhra Pradesh in response to climate
change *(Reference No: SRG/2022/002286)”.
*Principal Investigator*: Dr. Javid Ahmad Dar, Assistant Professor,
Department of Environmental Science
*Eligibility*: First class M.Sc./M. Tech. in Environmental Science,
Forestry, Life Science, Geoinformatics, Remote Sensing & GIS or Botany with
UGC/CSIR/ICAR-NET or valid GATE score. Non-NET candidates are also
encouraged to apply.
*Age limit*: 35 years on the date of application, with relaxation to
SC/ST/OBC/Women candidates as per Government of India norms.
*Emoluments*: ₹31,000/- month + 16% HRA for a duration of two years from
the date of start of the project.
*How to apply*: Interested candidates may send their detailed resume/CV via

for SERB-SRG Project” latest by October 10, 2022. Selected candidate may
register for a full-time Ph.D. programme under this project at Department
of Environmental Science, SRM University – AP.
*Interview*: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a virtual
interview via Zoom and will be intimated by email about the date of
interview. No TA/ DA will be provided. The selected candidate will have to
join immediately on receipt of the offer.
