Turtle Survival Alliance/Wildlife Conservation Society India is pleased to
announce
*4th School in Aquatic Wildlife Biology and Conservation*
*(1st-10th March 2021 6pm-8pm)*
The *School for Aquatic Wildlife Biology and Conservation* is a first of
its kind workshop in India, focused on providing knowledge and training in
research and conservation of aquatic ecosystems. This interactive method
has proven to be highly successful, with this being our 4th workshop since
inception.
Every year, we rotate the School across important wetland systems of the
Gangetic Plains in a field-based setting but due to the COVID 19 situation,
this year we are going ‘virtual’. Interactive talks from global experts
along with activity sessions would be conducted over ten days (preferrably
18:30 to 21:00 IST).
Topics to be covered include *field research methods, telemetry studies,
census methods, project management, equipment training and fundraising
techniques *covering all the major taxonomic groups found in wetland
systems.

*Eligibility*: The course is open to anyone above the age of 18. The course
is structured to be applicable to participants from all walks of life, may
they be students, professionals or private citizens.
