Are you interested in science? And in talking about science in various
forms (writing, photography, podcasts, short films, infographics, anything)?
We believe India is doing some wonderful work in the fields of science and
technology. With plenty of new institutes, and recently, NGOs and startups,
we are looking at a treasure trove of information, which is mostly just out
of reach of the common man. We are looking to bridge this gap. We
are focusing on one main 'bridge' as of now: providing plenty of
science-based information to the established media houses. Do you want to
join us and fortify the bridge?
We are a team of young people, with diverse backgrounds and lots of energy,
united by an interest to improve how science is communicated in the
country. We are 1.5 years old. We started off with a small group of
dedicated writers who wrote for free, and from April this year, we have
been happy to pay our writer team.
We are expanding and we want more people. We are looking for:
- Motivated people with good language skills (we right now have English
and Kannada teams, but we are open to creating other language teams if the
right people come on board)
- You can be based anywhere in the world. We only ask for you to be
prompt over email.
- We will have a trial period where you will complete 3 tasks, for
free. If you are happy with us and vice-versa, we will take you onto the
writer team.
- You can be on another job, but you should be able to dedicate enough
time to produce 2 articles/pieces per month
- We are especially looking for people in the fields of physics,
computer science and engineering.
