Hi, Some time ago some of us (smoinen in the front) suggested that we would provide Summit program in such format that mobile apps can use it. That means perhaps mostly XML. Correct me if i'm wrong. Anyway, timoph and I discussed this more today at Program Task-force meeting. What we need is that a) someone or few deves to define loosely what needs to be done and how, b) creates simple server app that can be included to our server infrastructure somehow (this app might also run independently). The server app (let it be called now as AgileProgram) would use XML as base format and from there it could be transformed to any other needed formats. This would be a great small project for a few developers. Timoph can correct my technical mistakes and such. Those who got interested about the mobile program app before could form the initial team. Benefits of doing this would be: a) it would serve us at future events (hopefully there will be more than just this event), and b) we can generate the program where ever needed in multiple formats. Or is this some sort of reinventing the wheel? Any thoughts? -- --------------- Community Manager (MNFI, Meego Network Finland) Organizer (TMN, Tampere Meego Network) Email: jarkko dot moilanen at meegonetwork dot fi Location: Tampere, Finland More info: http://meegonetwork.fi Discussions: irc.freenode.net#meego-fi http://meego.ajatukseni.net/
