Beste vrienden,
In bijlage het overlijdensbericht van François "Erik" Neirynck. Erik is de
echtgenoot van Patricia van Laeken, sinds jaren trouw niet-duikend lid van onze
club. De meesten zullen Patricia wel kennen als de tweelingzus van Marina Van
Laeken.
Ik herinner mij Erik als een minzaam, rustig persoon, steeds aanwezig op de
achtergrond tijdens de lange weekends, naar zijn eigen zeggen maakte zijn vrouw
al genoeg lawaai. Hij dronk z'n Duveltjes, van 't schab, niet gekoeld, en kon
ongelofelijk genieten van stilte. Z'n maatje was de hond, Yara, waarmee hij
kilometers al wandelend aflegde.
Patricia, Jamie en Meghan, veel sterkte tijdens deze moeilijke periode, het
bestuur, monitoraat en de hele club deelt mee in jullie verdriet.
