Hello all,
Changing technology and a natural turnover in members means that the MEA's
executive is considering the best way to communicate with and encourage
discussion between members.
What this means is that the MEA executive is wondering if the listserve is
still a useful discussion forum for members. The listserve doesn't seem to be
widely used by current members of the MEA. And in general, the volume of
messages is lower than in years past.
In your opinion, is the MEA listserve still a useful tool? Or is it time to
close the listserve?
As an alternative to the listserve, discussion could happen on the MEA's
Facebook page, or on a blog on the MEA website. We're also open to other
options.
Finally, I remind interested members to renew their MEA membership, as we're
currently in the middle of a membership drive.
